Launching our first rocket.
The word launch evokes thoughts of daring space endeavours or the start of long and exciting adventures, swashbuckling included. In this, the first blog from Brandspank Design, we want to tell you a little bit about or adventure and how this website forms a part of it. As a brand design studio committed to doing things better by doing them differently, we have for the past two years lived by our philosophy of ‘Design with Purpose’.
Just starting out, it was all too tempting to whack design out there, do something pretty and forget our vision. It sure was tempting! Starting up was like a crazy Chinese game show – frantic action with terrific gleeful highs and gutting lows. There seemed to be very little time for pontificating and head scratching to determine the best strategy for a brand. But we stuck to our guns and our clients who not only believed in the message but understood the basic premise of ‘think before doing’. So we have grown together, building brands that don’t just communicate a corporate message, but embody the life and soul of each business.
Now, with a good stretch of expansion under our belt and more on the way, the future looks brighter than a very bright thing. We have launched our new website, which will continue to grow on a weekly basis. Look out for blog entries from some notables (well, friends of Brandspank whom we have an immense amount of respect for and of course possess something of a sense of humour!) and portfolio entries showing our latest works.
